Siren's Kiss

The artist believes in animism and often sees traces of human characteristics in everything.

Base on her interest for coral, the artist uses recycled clothing to create an organic coral-like form, and turns the center of the piece into lips that symbolize the alluring and fatal kiss of Siren. It examines today’s fast fashion industry and its marketing strategies that lure consumers into excessive buying and creating social and environmental issues that eventually causes a chain reaction and affect human health.

Could we break Siren’s singing to avoid destruction? Could nature awaken human into rethinking the importance of a balanced ecosystem?
