In the Mood for Egg?

Inspired by reports of artificial eggs in China and plant-based eggs in the United States, Julia Hung presents eggs in both edible and non-edible forms. The work explores an “artificial reality,” where distinctions between the real and the fabricated dissolve. Detached from origin, we encounter narratives of products, brands, and identities that take on a life of their own—neither fully real nor entirely fake, but purely artificial.
