Dreamy Tide

Oscillating between wave, tree, and starry sky, the work resists fixed interpretation. Composed of hundreds of used plastic bags, this artificial form reflects Julia Hung’s exploration of interdependence and interchangeability. In doing so, it unsettles fixed notions of right and wrong, questioning the value systems embedded within an increasingly constructed environment.
